Single Ply Recoating
New Life for an Old Roof
We have taken our innovation to new heights with this complete waterproofing system for aged approved single-ply membranes that can improve and extend the life of an editing single-ply roof. As TPO (Thermoplastic Olefin) and other single-ply membranes become weathered, rooftops can crack, leak, and pick up dirt, diminishing their effectiveness and energy-saving properties. Conklin’s elastomeric coatings provide a new, cost-effective solution for repairing and preserving approved single-ply membranes, resulting in improved energy savings.
Our most common thermoset roof membrane is Aged Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer. EPDM principally is composed of two compounds, ethylene and propylene, that are derived from oil and natural gas. Contractors commonly call these membranes “rubber” roofs. Conklin coating systems are sustainable indefinitely with periodic recoats to upgrade the coating.
Benefits of Single-Ply EPDM Recoating:
- Stops leaks with superior waterproofing
- Increases energy efficiency and lowers utility expense with it’s cool, white, reflective surface
- Trouble free maintenance
- Long-term durability
- Offers superior protection from wind and hail
- Extends the life of the existing roof
